After a storm comes a Rainbow...
We find ourselves in unprecedented times, scary times, unknown territory. It’s a unique and (hopefully) once in a life time period, where the entire world has been forced to a stand still. This virus is not prejudice, it does not care whether you believe in a god, what nationality you are or how much money you have. We have to pull together, stay home and support where we can.
I am currently pregnant and it’s a very worrying and scary time for me and thousands of other pregnant women around the world. Mums to be are sadly losing their lives and their babies due to this awful virus, appointments are being done over the phone, and what should be a joyous occasion has quickly turned scary and stressful, and so I have decided to fundraise for two amazing maternity units.
Lister Hospital (Hertfordshire) Maternity unit will receive half the amount raised (East & North Hertfordshire hospitals charity number 1053338)
The other half will go towards the Kings Lynn (Norfolk) maternity bereavement suite, the hospital is raising £185k to build a special area for those parents going through the truly heartbreaking loss. (Registered charity number 1051327)
£3 from the sale of each Rainbow garment will go towards the charity.
